TMZ: Krayzie Bone Sentenced to Alcohol Education Classes for DUI Arrest in July 2012

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone just struck a sweet plea deal in his DUI case to keep his ass out of jail — but he’ll still have to serve time … in an alcohol education class.

As part of the plea agreement, Krayzie pled “no contest” yesterday to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher — following his July arrest in L.A., when police popped him for DUI.

He was sentenced to 3 years summary probation, and must enroll in an alcohol education program asap.

Bone had also been charged with an additional DUI count stemming from the arrest, as well as driving without a license, but those two counts were dropped in exchange or the “no contest” plea.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone insists he wasn’t driving drunk when he was arrested over the summer, pleading “not guilty” to DUI today … TMZ has learned.

As we first reported, Krayzie was arrested in late July on suspicion of DUI … after cops pulled him over in L.A. during a routine traffic stop.

According to police, the rapper bombed his field sobriety test and later blew over .10 on the breathalyzer. The legal limit in California is .08.

Krayzie’s due back in court on October 5th.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone has been released from jail after his first ever drunk driving arrest this morning — but he tells TMZ, he’s already learned his lesson.

Krayzie tells us, “I was just riding home late and got into a little trouble with the law. It is what it is. It happens sometimes. I’m cool now. I’m going home.”

He added, “First time it has ever happened to me. So lesson learned.”

We asked if he’d be sure to get a driver next time. Bone responded, “Yeah, that’s the best thing to do.”

TMZ broke the story … Krayzie was arrested early this morning in L.A. after a routine traffic stop. We’re told he appeared to be under the influence, so cops administered a field sobriety test … which he bombed. He was then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.

TMZ.com: Krayzie Bone Arrested For DUI

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone was arrested for drunk driving in L.A early this morning … TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the 39-year-old was pulled over around 12:30 AM on a routine traffic stop … when officers suspected Krayzie was boozed up.

We’re told the rapper was asked to perform field sobriety tests … and didn’t do too well. In fact, we’re told he blew over .10 on the breathalyzer … well above the legal limit in California, .08.

Cops arrested Krayzie on suspicion of DUI … and he was booked at a nearby jail. We’re told he was cooperative during the bust.
